US President Donald Trump said during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he felt disappointed with Russia's alleged decision to "keep going" in the conflict in Ukraine. "I'm disappointed, frankly, that President Putin is not stopping," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

The head of the United States also once again stated that the conflict in Ukraine "should never have happened."

Earlier, Trump said that Washington would supply weapons to Kyiv.

Trump's statement on the continuation of US arms supplies to Kyiv:

"We'll send more weapons, we need to do that — they need to be able to defend themselves. They're being hit very hard right now. They're being hit very hard. We'll have to send more weapons. These are defensive weapons first and foremost. But they're being hit very, very hard."

Politico previously reported that Washington could resume arms supplies to Kyiv after a series of high-level meetings in Italy and Ukraine over the next week.
