Putin dismisses Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Denisov and Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Khabarov

MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Ilya Denisov and Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) Alexander Khabarov from their posts. This follows from the relevant documents. The decrees come into force on the day of their signing - June 3.

Denisov was appointed to the post of Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in 2019. Before that, he held the post of Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Moscow.

Khabarov held the post of Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service since 2020. He was appointed to the post by a decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, on May 31, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin, by his decree, dismissed Mikhail Popov from the post of Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
