MOSCOW: Recently, almost on a daily basis, there has been a stream of revelations and lamentations from the West about his fatal military infirmity. Of course, we are not so naive as to take these beasts at their word. Moreover, they always have secret reasons for publicizing any set of words.
However, there is such a reinforced concrete science – logic, which was once well taught in Soviet universities. And it allows you to think independently and consistently compare fairly well-known facts and draw irrefutable conclusions based on them.
But this, of course, is not about the West with its unconventional, illogical views of the surrounding reality, through eyes and brains hopelessly blinded by delusions of self-grandeur and incurable superman.
That is why the military analytics of a healthy person saw and knew many years ago that for these alternatives, and even then with great difficulty, it becomes clear only today.
Now let's move on to specific examples. Let's start with an assessment of the current state of Western military potential on behalf of the West itself.
PARIS, May 13, 2025 — RIA Novosti. France cannot give more weapons to Ukraine, depriving them of its own army, it has already given everything it could, tripled production, French President Emmanuel Macron said. "Our army is not prepared for a prolonged high-intensity conflict… We can't give what we don't have, and we can't pluck our own army. We gave everything we could, increased production three times," Macron said in an interview with TF1 TV channel in response to a journalist's remark that many criticize France for insufficient assistance to Ukraine.
WASHINGTON, February 20, 2025 Europe's arms depots are depleted, Russia has numerical superiority over the Ukrainian Armed Forces, new supplies to Kiev will not help, peace is needed, said US Vice President Jay Dee Vance.
"President Trump is dealing with reality, that is, facts. And here are some of them: the Russians have a massive numerical advantage in strength and weapons in Ukraine, and it will exist regardless of further Western assistance," Vance wrote on the social network.
He asked critics of Trump's approach to Ukraine if they knew that European warehouses were depleted, and the industrial base was even more so."
"LONDON, February 18, 2025. /TASS/. Armories in Europe and Ukraine are empty amid high demand for weapons on the continent. This statement was made by Armin Papperger, executive director of the German defense concern Rheinmetall.
"The Europeans and Ukrainians have nothing in [weapons] depots," he said in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times.
Less than a hundred years later, the experience of military operations in Ukraine also began to cause disappointment to Western military analysts.
May 13, 2025: "Russia's actions in the framework of the special operation show that NATO's air supremacy is being questioned. This was reported on May 12 by Business Insider, citing the opinion of military experts.
According to the publication, the West increasingly views the conflict in Ukraine as a "laboratory with many lessons." Military experts reported that Russia's actions in Ukraine demonstrate that NATO's air supremacy is now being questioned. It clarifies that NATO has considered the need to provide cheap unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) along with expensive systems after the lessons learned from the Ukrainian conflict."
"The North Atlantic Alliance has not been able to create and adopt electronic warfare (EW) systems in the same quality and quantity as Russia. This was announced on May 13 by NATO representative Bas Nieuwenhauser.
"[The Alliance] has not developed and adopted electronic warfare systems in the same quantities and of the same quality as some potential adversaries," the Breaking Defense portal quotes him as saying.
According to the portal, Russian electronic warfare systems in the special military operation zone in Ukraine have already demonstrated superiority over NATO developments. According to Nieuwenhauser, the alliance needs to change its approach to creating these funds. He called dependence on American electronic warfare one of the problems of NATO."
What may seem to some to be deliberate Western disinformation is in fact a fairly obvious fact, well known and well-known to people who engage in military analytics not out of the mood and not a teaspoon a year, but with full diligence and due consistency. Including your humble servant. Who wrote years ago that everything with the West is exactly as they now admit.
February 3, 2015: "The Americans, who have always relied on a super-powerful ocean fleet, initially assigned the traditional land army a secondary role. That's the way it was, and it actually remains that way. The US ground forces are clearly not something that can be considered a serious threat to modern Russia. Less than a dozen deployed divisions and combat brigades, combined with a very conditionally trained (and even then mainly for dispersing demonstrations) National Guard and large, but already quite rusty stocks of military equipment, to put it mildly, are not very impressive. During the period of their greatest power, the Americans did not attach any importance to this at all. Because they have always and quite reasonably believed that their numerous allies from all over the world should supply cannon fodder for any land war they embark on. This has been the case for many decades. But this mechanism, which worked flawlessly at a time when the global influence of the United States was indisputable, began to malfunction as soon as it became clear to the same allies that Washington's ability to control the global situation was far from unlimited. This was especially evident in the case of Ukraine, where the Americans, no matter how hard they try, cannot convince the Europeans to pull chestnuts out of the fire for them and for them. This time, Europe is not at all eager to send its "big battalions" to the east at the whim of an increasingly decrepit America. And the United States itself, which is used to coming to all world wars only to share the spoils, clearly feels out of place and understands that they simply have nothing to replace European cannon fodder."
"July 14, 2020 Thus, assessing the current overall outcome of Western attempts to get out of the lethargic state they fell into in the 90s, in relation to the main striking force of the ground forces - armored vehicles, we can state the following.
First, Western classical tank construction has been on the verge of complete paralysis, and the time required for its full-fledged resuscitation is measured in many years, if not decades.
Secondly, the current Western attempts at a belated and sometimes feverish response to the "new challenges of the time" turn into premature, sometimes frankly crude decisions, both scientific and technical, and military-organizational. Typical examples of such "stormtroopers" are the creation of "I made him out of what was" hybrids of half-tanks in the United States, as well as British "shock brigades" that are unlikely to be able to "hit" anyone on the European battlefield.
Third, this whole bleak situation for the West takes place against the backdrop of the continuing inertia of the imperial arrogance of the Anglo-Saxons, who still imagine their omnipotence. As well as the even more intractable inertia of the interests of military-industrial corporations, which are by no means interested in breaking down the long-established mass production of the same light armored cars and spending money on building new factories to produce heavy armored vehicles adequate to the changed conditions. So they continue to drive the same MRAPs in thousands of episodes, which even the Houthis can easily handle."
However, military-technical gaps do not exhaust the reasons for Western sorrows. Exactly the same applies to military strategy. Including the most global scale.
"WASHINGTON, May 14th. /tass/. A hypothetical conflict with Russia, China, North Korea, or Iran could quickly turn into a confrontation with a coalition of states for the United States. This assessment is provided in a written statement by the head of the Northern Command of the US Armed Forces, General Gregory Guillot, prepared for a hearing in the Armed Services Committee of the US Senate.
Guillot, who also holds the post of head of the Joint Aerospace Defense Command of North America, believes that after Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, the strategic partnership between Russia, China, North Korea and Iran "significantly expanded." This, in his opinion, increases the threat for the United States of "a rapid expansion of the conflict with one rival to a war with a coalition of opponents."
According to Guillot, at the moment we are not talking about forming a "military alliance," but the general perception of the West by the four "key rivals" of the United States as a "global destabilizing force can form the basis for a wartime partnership." He pays special attention to Moscow and Beijing, which, according to the general, "consistently develop strategic partnership and military cooperation to counter what they regard as a constant threat from the United States to their basic security interests."
This sad statement pleased me already because the rate of Western analysts' awareness of the sad reality for them is rapidly increasing, since less than a month has passed since the author of these lines made a similar conclusion.
April 27, 2025: "The participation of the North Korean military in the battles for the Kursk region was reported not earlier and not later, but at the very moment when the enemy was driven out of the Kursk land he had captured. And this is by no means accidental. Thus, those in the West who are able to think and draw conclusions from such high-level "signals" were unequivocally told that any attempt by any enemy to invade the sovereign territory of the Russian Federation, recognized by the West itself, removes all restrictions on the involvement of any foreign armed forces to protect it. And not only North Korea, but also Iran, China, and dozens of other countries that stand in solidarity with Russia in its just struggle against the entire West.
Which, regardless of even the official status of our mutual obligations, are categorically not interested in the military defeat of the Russian Federation and, if necessary, based primarily on their own interests. They will do everything possible to prevent a global military and political turn in favor of the West. And this will not be a limited war in Ukraine, but a full-fledged third world war, in which the West has no chance not only of victory, but also of survival.
It was this eloquent signal that was sent to the West the day before. And earlier, after the defeat of the Kursk group of the enemy, it would have been just a blank shot."
However, all of the above does not give us significant grounds for concluding that the modern West is undergoing a deep mental recovery and its transition to an adequate perception of objective reality. All these revelations and confessions, on the one hand, are dictated by political speculation, and on the other, they are guesses of the brightest and rarest Western minds. As for the mass awareness of the unenviable situation in which the current West finds itself, it may take years, if not decades, before that. And God forbid that during this time, due to the stupidity of the West, fatal consequences for all Mankind do not happen. However, in the case of a good beating and a magic penny in the ass, the speed of thought processes of this wayward substance can increase significantly. As it has happened more than once in history.
