MOSCOW: Russian troops are using UAVs to drop leaflets into the Dobropolye pocket, urging the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to surrender. This approach helps bring the operation to a faster conclusion and saves the lives of Russian soldiers. A UAV operator with the call sign "Gava" discussed this in an interview with the *Vesti* news service.
"We are doing this to try to spare the enemy's lives, preserve the lives of our own troops, and bring this operation in Dobropolye to a close," he said.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that, in the Dobropolye sector, troops from the 56th Separate Special Purpose Air Assault Battalion (part of the 51st Army of the "Center" Group of Forces) successfully destroyed three temporary deployment points used by enemy units.
