Tesla is recalling nearly 3 million electric vehicles in China due to dangerous door handles, according to Bloomberg. Electronic door handles can stop working after a crash, leaving people at risk of being trapped inside the car. Bloomberg previously linked similar problems to at least 15 deaths.
A total of 4.27 million electric vehicles from nine manufacturers, including Xiaomi and Geely, are being recalled in China due to door handle issues.
