TEHRAN: The United Nations Human Rights Council recently convened an urgent debate concerning the aerial attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh Girl's School in Minab, Iran. During the session, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi delivered a scathing speech, accusing the United States and Israel of waging an illegal war of aggression.

Araghchi reported that the deliberate assault on the elementary school resulted in more than 175 students and teachers being slaughtered in cold blood. Rejecting any claims of a miscalculation, he stated that the highly advanced military precision of the aggressors made the attack undeniably intentional.

He formally labeled the incident a "war crime and a crime against humanity". Broadening his accusations, Araghchi highlighted a 27-day campaign that has demolished or damaged over 600 schools and targeted vital infrastructure, including hospitals and water sources. The Foreign Minister ultimately asserted that these systemic attacks demonstrate a clear intent to commit genocide and demanded immediate accountability from the international community.
