MOSCOW: Slovak Transport Ministry spokesperson Petra Polacíková announced the country's readiness to restore direct flights to Russia if EU sanctions are lifted.
"If the restrictions are lifted, Slovak airspace will be open to flights by the aforementioned carriers or aircraft registered in the Russian Federation."
The spokesperson noted that the reopening of flights depends on the interest of air carriers. To obtain permits, the Russian side will have to comply with air transport agreements and European legislation.
