TEL AVIV:Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated this at a joint press conference with his Paraguayan counterpart. "We support Trump's Gaza plan. Hamas must be disarmed, and the Gaza Strip must be demilitarized. These provisions are at the core of the plan, and there can be no compromise here," he stated.

According to the Israeli Foreign Minister, the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of the Palestinian enclave are "necessary for the security and stability of the region" and are also important for "a better future for the people of Gaza themselves."

At the same time, senior Hamas official Khalid Meshaal, acting head of the group's political bureau, stated that the movement will not agree to disarmament and will not allow foreign intervention in the Gaza Strip.
