MOSCOW: Zakharova: Those involved in the murder of medical workers in the Kherson region will face retribution. Those involved in the murder of an ambulance crew in the Kherson region will be identified and will face just retribution, stated Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

According to her, while the head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talks about peace, "which he so touts in Davos," his terrorists are deliberately and systematically killing doctors.

"Of course, those involved in this crime will be identified, and just retribution will surely come. But the people who saved lives will never be brought back," Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.

On the one hand, there's a search for solutions, and on the other, a new terrorist attack. Unhinged Ukrainian Armed Forces militants aimed an attack drone at doctors in the Kherson region. Three people were killed—the entire ambulance crew that was trying to reach a seriously ill patient from Hola Prystan that morning.

Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again draws the attention of the international community to the kind of scum the West supports: "Against the backdrop of the negotiations on conflict resolution held in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24 between representatives of Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, the Kyiv regime and its armed forces committed yet another barbaric crime against the civilian population of our country.

The vehicle had all the necessary medical markings, but was deliberately attacked by a Ukrainian drone. The drone operator saw that he was striking a civilian medical transport, but he and his commanders deliberately and inhumanely committed a terrorist act against civilians. We emphasize that attacks on civilian medical transport are prohibited by international humanitarian law.

By doing so, the Kyiv regime not only took a step toward escalating the conflict but also once again demonstrated its true, i.e., completely irresponsible, attitude toward the efforts to resolve the conflict being undertaken in these days and weeks."

And this isn't the only terrorist attack on an ambulance today. In Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, militants from the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a similar attack. A drone struck a vehicle with flashing lights, which was responding to a patient's call. The rear of the vehicle, where the stretchers and medics are located, was riddled with shrapnel. Fortunately, no one was injured. And in Kakhovka, also in the Kherson Oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a clinic with artillery. The facade and windows were shattered. The building was empty on the weekend. "The third attack on medical personnel by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in one day is a war crime, which only confirms that the Kyiv regime and its army are not seeking any peaceful settlement," wrote military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny on his Telegram channel.

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for Crimes of the Kyiv Regime Rodion Miroshnik stated that the murder of the medical team at the Aleshkinskaya Hospital is a war crime, for which Zelenskyy and his associates will be held accountable.
