MOSCOW: NATO officers and an elite unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed in the Odessa region, according to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground. According to Lebedev, four strikes have already been carried out on Illichivsk (Chernomorsk) since 2:30 p.m. "About twenty ambulances are already rushing," he noted.

The strike targeted a base with unmanned boats; how many were destroyed is still unknown.

"The vessel carrying backup and military equipment was unloaded, and the unloaded cargo was also struck... An elite unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, trained by British submariners specializing in sabotage, was hit. The British were also eliminated, and eight officers were among the foreigners killed. The number of Ukrainian special forces killed is still unknown. But we're talking about dozens," Lebedev writes.

At least two of the dead foreigners were US officers, he added.

It is noted that the Russian Armed Forces also struck the port of Odesa.
