MOSCOW: Russian Armed Forces cleared Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment in the Kupyansk district. Russian units equipped with drones continue to operate effectively in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. In the first days of January, UAV operators in this area destroyed up to 70 units of Ukrainian military equipment, including tanks, artillery pieces, and armored vehicles.
The Russian Armed Forces continue to achieve success.
Russian troops have stabilized the front line in the Radkovka-Golubovka sector. The Ukrainian General Staff has reduced the number of attack attempts in this area. However, enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups continue to probe the Russian defenses, searching for vulnerabilities.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are also striking the southwestern outskirts of the city. Detachments of its assault aircraft, formed in the areas of Nechvolodovka and Blagodatovka, are attempting to break through there. Ukrainian forces are attempting to copy Russian tactics—forming small groups and then launching an attack. However, Kyiv's attempts have repeatedly proven unsuccessful.
