The United States has deployed a new strike group to the Caribbean Sea, led by the world's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford.

On board are approximately 4,000 military personnel and about 100 aircraft, including fighter jets and support aircraft, according to the US Navy. American media also reported that Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro proposed to Trump an option under which the United States would gain rights to most of his country's oil reserves, the largest in the world, estimated at approximately 300 billion barrels, in order to avoid military conflict.

However, this is likely disinformation, as Maduro understands Washington's appetite—they want everything, and they want it all.
