NEW YORK: Iran may once again allow international inspectors to monitor its nuclear facilities. According to experts and former U.S. officials, this will help clarify what part of Iran's program has not suffered from Israeli and U.S. strikes and lay the groundwork for a diplomatic agreement to curb Tehran's nuclear ambitions, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Iran will receive a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the next few weeks, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, who was one of the country's leading representatives at spring talks with the United States, told reporters in New York. He said the meeting in Tehran is expected to discuss what options inspectors may have to resume monitoring of Iran's key nuclear sites.
